Trump blows off furloughed federal employees' financial woes: 'I don’t care that most of the workers not getting paid are Democrats'

President Donald Trump punched down at federal employees on Twitter on Saturday morning, saying he doesn't "care that most of the workers are not getting paid" since he believes they are Democrats.

In yet another appeal to get his wall built, Trump, showed no sympathy for employees who have now gone 15 days without being paid.

"I don’t care that most of the workers not getting paid are Democrats, I want to stop the Shutdown as soon as we are in agreement on Strong Border Security! I am in the White House ready to go, where are the Dems?" Trump tweeted.
