FBI Investigating Head of Hawaii Megachurch for Human Trafficking and Military-Style Weapons

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is probing a controversial megachurch for human trafficking, Hawaii News Now reports.

Pastor Apollo Quiboloy of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, or KJC, was detained by Customs and Border Enforcement agents in February after agents discovered $350,000 in cash aboard his leased jet.

Sources claimed that parts to assembly military-style rifles were also found on board the jet.

The FBI sent an agent from Los Angeles to investigate.

“It did indicate some of the classic signs of human trafficking. And people who have come under religious worker visas before have sometimes been connected with human trafficking,” attorney Clare Hanusz explained. “This is often done in trafficking. They use threats of deportation and calling law enforcement and making things up.”

Pastor Quiboloy claims to be the “Appointed Son of God” and is close friends with Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte.
