Soledad O’Brien Blasts CNN's Trump-Lackey Jeffrey Lord on Twitter

Don't get cute with Soledad O'Brien on Twitter. That's the message CNN commentator and full-time alternative fact supporter Jeffrey Lord learned the hard way when he claimed the former CNN host is a "liberal" with "hate" for the president.

The comments came after O'Brien responded to a tweet from MSNBC host Lawrence O'Donnell about ousted White House chief of staff Reince Priebus possibly moving to CNN. "Does CNN really need another Jeffrey Lord," O'Donnell mused.

O'Brien's reponse? "CNN doesn't even need the Jeffrey Lord it has." Ouch. 

Lord thought he'd try to make a funny and tweeted that O'Brien should "come out" as someone who loathes the president, oblivious to the fact that maybe her comment had nothing to do with Trump.

She didn't take the bait. "Actually, boo-it's you I dislike," O'Brien tweeted back.

Game, set and match.
