"There are no winners here," said Jon Stewart on last night's Daily Show, addressing the conflict in Gaza. Unless, that is, you listen to the American media. The second a tentative ceasefire was announced, US cable news rushed to annoint winners and losers. "You really miss the election, don't you?" Stewart deadpans, wondering why the endless tragedy in the Middle East is cause for horse-race coverage. Watch below, via Mediaite:
