Obama spoke to churchgoers on Chicago's South Side about the importance of fathers yesterday. The presumed Democratic presidential candidate attended service at the Apostolic Church of God, and stressed the need children have for a responsible father in their life. Obama was speaking about a subject close to him, as he has stated that his political career is motivated by the memories and stories of his often estranged father. Obama outlined the complex relationship he had with his father in his first book, the aptly titled Dreams from My Father.
