There have also been talks that Charlie is going to work on a film about the heroic experience of William Rodriguez. Rodriguez was a janitor at the World Trade Center on 9/11 and saved hundreds of lives just before escaping the building as it collapsed. He ended up getting buried under rubble before being rescued. Rodriguez then went on to accuse and sue Bush for being involved in the attacks.
Charlie Sheen has taken a lot of criticism for questioning the "official" story of 9/11. He set off a firestorm after making these comments on a radio show:
"It seems to me like 19 amateurs with boxcutters taking over four commercial airliners and hitting 75 percent of their targets, that feels like a conspiracy theory. It raises a lot of questions. A couple of years ago, it was severely unpopular to talk about any of this. It feels like from the people I talk to, and the research I've done and around my circles, it feels like the worm is turning."Despite being called, among many other things, a member of the "9/11 gone-bonkers brigade," he has not stopped speaking out. In this video clip, Charlie speaks at a 9/11 Truth conference:
"We are here today to ask those still sleeping to wake up... We are here today to present a case forged in science at the bedrock and common sense in its foundation. We are here today to fire a warning shot across the bow of the mainstream media…"Whatever your thoughts are on 9/11 you have to admire Sheen's courage to stand up for what he believes.
