Blogs besting the Times

Before the election the NY Times repeated Republican talking points, seldom mentioned policy, refused to acknowledge any objective facts, etc. At a Stanford conference, tech prodigy Aaron Swartz added his 2 pennies to the blogger v journalist debate by looking not at whether bloggers live up to journalism but rather at why journalism isn't helping Democracy and why blogs often are.
