'Wake up, fools': Michael Cohen has advice for loyal 'MAGA maniacs' after McCarthy removal
During Tuesday's episode of MSNBC's The Beat with Ari Melber, guest host Katie Phang interviewed ex-President Donald Trump former lawyer Michael Cohen about his thoughts on the state of the United States House of Representatives following its historic vote to oust Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).
Pointing out at that the ex-Trump attorney was "once loyal to" the former president, Phang asked Cohen whether he believed McCarthy should have listened to his warning about Trump and "looked out for himself," instead of staying loyal to the 2024 MAGA hopeful.
Cohen replied, "Of course he should have."

The former MAGA official added that he "warned everybody" including the ousted Speaker when he testified before the House Oversight Committee in 2019, ABC News reports, "painting a harsh portrait of the president as an unscrupulous businessman who may have committed a crime while in office."
During their conversation, Phang asked Cohen, "So any words of advice then to those who still haven't been listening to you carefully enough — those that are still in Trump's corner despite the fact that trump is clearly only loyal to himself."
"Wake up, fools. It's about time. You have seen now, not one, not two, but more than a dozen individuals who were a whole lot closer to Donald than you. So think about it, if he's willing to throw Kevin McCarthy under the bus. If he's willing to have thrown Michael Cohen under the bus in light of everything that's going on, and now, knowing hindsight being 2020, just think about what he'll do to you. He doesn't care. Again, I can say this over and over and over again, but whatever the reason is, these MAGA maniacs have no interest in listening: Donald trump does not care for any of you. He only cares about himself, plain and simple."
