Voters in pro-Trump Georgia county reveal their 'big disqualifier' for ex-president: report

CNN reporter Elle Reeve recently visited a diner in pro-Donald Trump Nahunta, Georgia, and shared some of the conversations she had with customers — who might just vote Democrat next month.
In a news segment CNN published on Tuesday, Button Lee, a resident of Brantley County, Georgia, can be seen sitting around a dining table with a few others, telling Reeve, "When Biden claimed he created more jobs, that's only because of corona, because everything shut down. That was not Trump's fault."
Reeve replied, "The jobs report numbers were very good for September that just came out.

Brantley County resident David Herron chimed in, saying, "You can't take that and give credit the Washington, DC. You give that credit to the American people that go to work every day even when they're down, even when it's against them. We get up and we continue to work. We continue to fight. And we've made this country better. There ain't nobody in Washington who's got a right to take credit for what the American people have done."
The Republican residents were then joined by two friends. Corbet Wilson, a Brantley County, Georgia resident, said "I ain't a Democrat, but I'm an Independent."
Reeve then asked Wilson, "Ok, what are your views on the election?"
"Well, I ain't gonna vote for a criminal," he said of Trump. "What he did on January 6 is enough. They were beating on them cops down there. "

Donald Lewis, also a Brantley County resident, then joined the conversation.
"Who are you gonna vote for?" Reeve asked.
"The right person," Lewis replied.
The CNN reporter asked, "Who do you think the right person is?"
"It won't be Donald Trump," Lewis said.
"Ok. Tell me why," Reeve replied.

Lewis asked Reeve, "Last time you saw him talking, his lips were moving?"
"Yeah," Reeve replied.
"He's lying," Lewis said.
"Well, so Mr. Wilson here was telling us that January 6 was a big disqualifier for him," Reeve continued."
Lewis emphasized, "Well it should've been. I feel like he's anti American. He tried to overthrow our government."

"And so are you thinking about voting for Harris?" Reeve asked.
"Yeah, I have to or not vote," Lewis answered.
Wilson replied, "He's the only choice."
