While President Donald Trump's administration no longer formally recognizes Pride Month, his iconic Fifth Avenue property is set to host a major LGBTQ+ conservative gathering later this month, according to a report by The Independent.

The Log Cabin Republicans of New York City will hold their annual “PrideRight” celebration at Trump Tower on June 28, with tickets priced at $175 for the general public and $150 for members.

Promotional materials describe the event as a chance to mingle with LGBTQ conservatives and supporters over hors d’oeuvres and a premium open bar in what they call “one of New York City’s most legendary venues."

The announcement coincides with the Trump administration sidestepping questions about whether the president will acknowledge Pride Month this year.

Asked directly about it during a recent press briefing, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt responded, “There are no plans for a proclamation for the month of June,” adding, “But I can tell you this president is very proud to be a president for all Americans, regardless of race, religion or creed.”

As The Independent pointed out, Trump declined to issue a formal Pride Month proclamation during his first term, though he did acknowledge the occasion on social media.

Meanwhile, some supporters of Trump’s Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement are expressing outrage over the planned gathering.

"Is this part of the 'mission from God' too?" wrote a user on the social platform X.

"Gross. Despite all of the virtue signaling from Con Inc. and the online influencers, this gay party will be happening at Trump Tower. More negative efficacy and degeneracy are for the 'big tent' nonsense," wrote another user.

"Trump, who is hosting a pride party at Trump Tower, declares June to be 'National Ocean Month'," wrote the X account PatriotTakes.
