Trump Revokes Security Clearance of Former CIA Head John Brennan  -  Accuses Him of 'Erratic Conduct and Behavior'

Donald Trump on Wednesday revoked the security clearance of former Director of Central Intelligence Agency John Brennan, Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters Wednesday.


In a statement written by the president and read by Sanders, Trump accused Brennan—a fierce critic of his administration—of "erratic conduct and behavior."

Trump also said he was considering the revokation of security clearances for former Federal Burea of Intelligence Director James Comey, former Director of the National Security Agency Michael Hayden and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, among others.

Asked why it seems the president is targeting people critical of him, Sanders claimed "the president has a constitutional responsibility to protect classified information."
