President Donald Trump’s former attorney Ty Cobb warned that the latest outrage of Trump posting photos of the Obamas as apes is only the latest example of the president’s mental deterioration reaching a tipping point.

“He has drained 250 years of dignity out of the [Oval] office with acts like this,” Cobb told MS NOW host Ari Melber, adding that Trump’s unmonitored “late night screeds” are the purest representation of Trump’s failing mental health.

“At that hour there's nobody … there to say ‘you might want to rethink this.’ No, that's all related, and it's all part of his cognitive decline,” said Cobb, who worked with Trump and now describes a different, damaged brain behind the face. “I mean, there's so many physicians and psychiatrists around the country, and certainly around the world now, who have commented on the on the frontal lobe issues that Trump has, the way that his dementia has aggravated his narcissistic personality disorder, which a sixth grader could diagnose.”

Cobb said White House staff was likely working overtime to hide his condition, but the rest of world is finding the truth unavoidable.

“The White House tries to prevent him from being perceived as other than whimsical on these things. But he's not — I mean, he's, he's gone.”

But Cobb added that Trump’s mental absence is not stopping people in Trump’s administration, including advisor Stephen Miller and U.S. Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought from “dismantling democracy.”

“This man with serious cognitive decline has the nuclear codes,” Cobb added.
