President Donald Trump was briefly silenced Monday as two left-wing Israeli politicians yelled 'terrorist!" at him as he spoke to the nation's parliament following the release of the 20 living hostages held by Hamas as part of the ceasefire deal between the warring parties.
According to The Jerusalem Post, the two members of the Knesset, Israel's unicameral legislature, Aymen Odeh and Ofer Cassif, were ejected during Trump's speech for disruption.
According to Grok, X's AI chatbot, "They disrupted Trump's Knesset speech by shouting 'terrorist' and holding signs labeling his policies as 'genocide' or demanding Palestinian state recognition. As left-wing Hadash MKs, Odeh and Cassif oppose Israel's Gaza operations, viewing them as excessive and US backing as enabling alleged atrocities. Their protest highlights ongoing tensions over the post-Oct. 7 war and two-state advocacy."
As the two were escorted out, Trump quipped, "That was very efficient."
Following the incident, social media lit up with reactions. X user 1987 replied, "Even [sic] Israeli knows that MF is a terrorist. Trump is complicit to the Genocide. F—— Trump."
"He's definitely a terrorist here and at home and Israel can keep him" wrote B. Kiessling on X.
Comrade Krasnov wrote on X, "Entire world hates him."
"Traitor and terrorist are the two correct terms for the honking POS," wrote X account G.
