Fox News' Neil Cavuto appears to be running out of patience with former President Donald Trump's baseless claims about nearly every issue Americans care about — but mainly about the US stock market.

"You might have heard the former president refer to what's going on right now as a hurdle towards depression," the Your World with Neil Cavuto host said. "Well, if that's the case the market's having a funny way of showing it. At least today, the S&P 500 putting in its best single day performance we've seen in a couple years — the Dow tracking its biggest gain of the year."

MarketWatch published a report Thursday titled: "Stock Market Today: Dow logs best day in 3 weeks as labor-market data calm recession fears.'

It's not the first time this week Cavuto questioned the ex-president's claims about the stock market.

On Monday, the Fox News fact-checked Trump's claim that whenever the market is down — it's the Democrat's fault.

"When they’re up, it’s all because of [Trump], Cavuto said. "When they’re down, it’s all because of the Democrats and how horrific they are. Yet, of our biggest-point falloffs – three of the biggest top 10 occurred during his administration. Now, a lot of those were in the Covid years. I get that. But you know, you either own the markets or you don’t. It does confuse me."
