Bill O’Reilly, a former Fox News host, claimed Wednesday that he and President Donald Trump spoke earlier this year regarding the Jeffrey Epstein records, which Trump warned could “destroy” innocent individuals.
During a segment on NewsNation’s Cuomo, O’Reilly revealed that he confronted Trump “man to man, eye to eye” on St. Patrick’s Day, addressing the contents of Epstein’s files.
O’Reilly said, “He said, and I agree, there are a lot of names associated with Epstein that had nothing to do with Epstein's conduct.”

He continued: “They maybe had lunch with him or maybe had some correspondence for one thing or another. If that name gets out, those people are destroyed because there's not going to be any context.”
On Tuesday, Trump rebuked a reporter after being asked about Epstein, as some within MAGA circles criticize the administration’s outright rejection of conspiracy narratives tied to the disgraced financier.
During a Cabinet meeting Tuesday, a reporter questioned Attorney General Pam Bondi regarding the memo that found “no credible evidence” to support claims that Epstein blackmailed influential individuals. That memo also upheld the conclusion that Epstein died by suicide in custody in 2019.
Trump stepped in before Bondi could respond to the question. “Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein?" he asked the reporter.

"This guy’s been talked about for years. We have Texas, we have this, we have all of the things… and are people still talking about this guy, this creep? That is unbelievable.”
Meanwhile, conservative critics have intensified their pressure on the Trump administration following the Justice Department’s choice to withhold additional Epstein-related documents.
The department’s memo — just two pages long and released Monday — stated that disgraced financier and convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein left no “client list” when he died in prison in 2019.

"Anyone who was associated with, hung around him, enabled him should be mocked, bullied and shunned from society. I don’t care," wrote a user.
The account "Republicans against Trump" wrote: "Bill O’Reilly says Trump told him the Jeffrey Epstein files can’t be released because they could “destroy” a lot of people. Wonder who he’s really worried about."
