'Interesting nugget': CNN data guru says Americans have rarely been so united

Donald Trump
Daily Beast reports CNN polling analyst Harry Enten has never seen Americans so unified on how much they dislike Trump, particularly Trump's handling of the Epstein files.
A new CNN poll revealed Democrats and Republicans are equally hostile to Trump’s sudden cold feet at releasing the files connected to sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein to the public.
“Fifty percent are ‘dissatisfied’, Enten told the crew of CNN’s ‘News Central.’ [in the category of] ‘Doesn't matter’: 29 percent. ‘Not heard enough’: 17 percent. But look at the bottom of your screen: the percentage that are ‘satisfied’ is just 3 percent,” “That's one. That's two. That is just 3 percent—I feel like The Count on Sesame Street—just 3 percent of Americans are satisfied, so far, with the amount of information [Trump’s] released. But the clear winner in this particular case is 50%.”

Trump spent the brunt of his campaign claiming he planned to make all government files related to Epstein public, much to the adoration of Trump’s MAGA base, who possibly hoped names like ‘Bill Clinton’ would be somewhere on the list. Now, with Trump reelected and in a place to pull back the curtain, Trump dismissed the files this month, fueling new speculation about the real names included in files.
As Enten pointed out, however, the suspicion is coming at the president from all directions, not just Democrats.
“Half of the public is dissatisfied, at least so far, and are you seeing a big difference between how Republicans and Democrats are viewing this? No—and that, I think, is the interesting nugget in what's going on here,” said Enten.
Of the 50 percent ‘dissatisfied’, when broken down by party, Enten revealed 43 percent “lean GOP,” including Republicans and Independents.

“But look at this. Just 4 percent of that is ‘satisfied.’ My goodness gracious, when you only have 4 percent that is with Donald Trump on a particular issue, that is ridiculously low. I've never seen anything quite like it. How about ‘lean democrat’ [at] 60 percent ‘dissatisfied’? Compare that to 3 percent who are ‘satisfied’—again, 4 percent Republican, 3 percent Democrat: You rarely ever see this type of agreement.”
Enten said Trump also managed to unite the widening gap between white people with college degrees and whites without a college degree.
“In this particular case, we [also] see agreement,” Enten said. “What are we talking about? The Epstein case regarding the amount of info released, ‘dissatisfied’: 55 percent of white college graduates and 53 of white non-college graduates—Donald Trump's historic base, yet the majority are dissatisfied.”

“Really interesting numbers,” Enten concluded.
