George Conway and Jenna Ellis school Fox News host who demanded GOP billionaires pay Trump’s bond

Although Donald Trump has a net worth of $2.6 billion, according to Forbes, he is facing some massive expenses that could force him to liquidate some of his assets.

Those expenses range from major court-ordered sanctions to a mountain of legal bills related to four criminal indictments and a variety of civil lawsuits. Justice Arthur Engoron's sanctions in New York State Attorney General Letitia James' lawsuit add up to $464 million when interest is factored in, and juries awarded writer E. Jean Carroll millions in damages in her two civil defamation lawsuits against Trump: $5 million in the first, $83.3 million in the second.

Between James' case and Carroll's lawsuits, Trump is being penalized for over $547 million.

On X, formerly Twitter, Trump's financial and legal problems have inspired a heated debate between two people on the right: conservative attorney George Conway and far-right radio host Mark R. Levin.

Conway and Levin have radically different views on Trump. While Conway is a Never Trumper who believes that Trump has been terrible for the Republican Party and the conservative movement, Levin has been a relentless Trump defender and loves to attack others on the right for not being MAGA enough.

On March 18, Levin tweeted, "Why are there no Republican multi-billionaires offering to lend President Trump the funds to file his appeal in the outrageous case in NY state? Are none of them liquid enough to help or join with others to help? This is an outrage."

Conway, in response, posted, "Maybe because Trump is a terrible credit risk who someday soon will probably spend the rest of his life in prison?"

Levin was triggered by Conway's tweet, telling the conservative attorney, "Maybe you’re an a*****e, punk."

Conway mockingly responded, "You seem angry. Maybe you should talk to someone about that."

The mockery continued when X user Karen Ann posted, "Offer him your 10% discount" — to which Conway responded, "That’s a great idea. Maybe Sarah and I can work out an extra special discount for him with our sponsor."

The "Sarah" Conway was referring to was fellow Never Trump conservative Sarah Longwell, publisher of The Bulwark and founder of the Republican Accountability Project (formerly Republican Voters Against Trump).

Conway isn't the one person who has been calling Levin out on X.

Attorney Jenna Ellis, one of Trump's co-defendants in Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis' election interference/RICO case, told Levin, "Why should Republican multi-billionaires help Trump when he didn't even help HIS OWN PEOPLE fund their defenses? That's the actual outrage."

Ellis is among the former Trump attorneys who tried to help Trump overturn the 2020 presidential election results. But Ellis now admits that President Joe Biden won the election fair and square, and she reached a plea deal with the Fulton County DA's Office. In exchange for avoiding state prison, Ellis agreed to fully cooperate with Willis' team.

X user Denise Harrison called Levin out as well, tweeting, "Maybe they see Trump as untrustworthy. He certainly doesn’t exhibit many honorable characteristics. Maybe you should lend him some money @marklevinshow."

Another X user, Russell Drew, tweeted, "The quiet part out loud again! Far right wing radio host Mark Levin is calling upon billionaires to 'buy' Donald Trump. Think of it as an investment! If he becomes President again, he will be in their debt and do them favors. The corruption is being screamed through a bullhorn."
