Walz says his students’ reasons 'for not doing their homework' were 'better' than Trump’s latest excuse

2024 Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz on Thursday slammed one of Donald Trump's remarks during his debate against Vice President Kamala Harris earlier this week.
The former president claimed that he would repeal Obamacare, but when asked about his plan to replace it, Trump said he only has "concepts of a plan" because he's not the president.
"A lot of reasons the guy shouldn't be anywhere near the White House again," Walz told thousands of Harris supporters during the Democratic presidential nominee's North Carolina rally Thursday. "He did not say one thing about what he would do to make life better for the American people. He has a concepts of a plan. Every one of my kids had a better excuse for not doing their homework than that. They never told me they had a concept of the plan."

The Minnesota governor continued, "On every single issue, Vice President Harris is standing on those issues with you and your family. It is clear Donald Trump has no plan for you. His agenda is about him. While he didn't articulate it the other night, they made it easy for us to know what they're gonna do, because they wrote it in a 900 page document called Project 2025."
"Who is asking for that agenda?" Walz asked. "Who is asking, except folks who want to take control over your lives."
Harris, herself, also took aim at her opponent's comments, saying, "Concepts, concepts, no actual plan, concepts. And understand what’s at stake on that. 45 million Americans are insured through the Affordable Care Act and he’s going to end it based on a concept."
