Fox host shuts down RNC chair’s criticism of Harris’ new 'good idea'

Fox News host Stuart Varney is giving 2024 Democratic nominee Kamala Harris props for her latest proposal to help small businesses. Republican National Committee Chair Michael Whatley — on the other hand — not so much.
CBS reports that the vice president "wants to expand the small business tax credit tenfold — from $5,000 to $50,000 — to help startups cover the average $40,000 it costs to launch an enterprise. She's also setting a goal of receiving 25 million new small business applications in her first term, up from the record 19 million that were filed under the Biden-Harris administration."
The Harris campaign's official X account shared a video clip of Varney praising the vice president's new plan.

"I've got to say that is a good idea," he emphasized.
The RNC chair was slow to agree. "Well, that may be a good idea. It's hard to see how she's going to move forward with it."
MSNBC legal analyst Joyce Vance replied: "Some days, the political gods of fortune smile upon you and even the folks on Fox have to agree your plans are good policy."
