Prosecutors in Fulton County “have officially listed former Vice President Mike Pence as one of the witnesses who could be called to testify” in the Georgia election conspiracy case against former President Donald Trump and his allies, CNN reports.

According to CNN, Pence is one of “upward of 150 names” Fulton County prosecutors have submitted in the case. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and her team booked Trump and 18 of his allies back in August on a sprawling indictment that includes charges of racketeering and conspiracy. Four of Trump’s former co-defendants have pleaded guilty in deals that require cooperation with investigators.

Pence “has not been considered a major part of criminal proceedings in Georgia,” but “could become a key witness as one of the few one-time Republican allies of the former president to strongly rebuke Trump’s claims of widespread voter fraud in the Peach State,” CNN reports.
