In a scathing video tweeted on Tuesday, December 5, the group Courage for America slammed House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) for blurring images from the January 6, 2021 insurrection. And the video is being applauded by Norman Ornstein, an American Enterprise Institute conservative.

The video shows Johnson defending House Republicans' use of blurred January 6 images, saying, "We're going through a methodical process of releasing them as quickly as we can. As you know, we have to blur the faces of persons who participated in the events of that day because we don't want them to be retaliated against and to be charged by the DOJ."

Tweeting the video, Ornstein wrote, "Not too many Speakers of the House have engaged an open obstruction of justice. Here is one."
