Fox News’ Kayleigh McEnany praises Kamala Harris’ 'fascinating' interview: 'Very powerful'

Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany on Wednesday showed admiration for a recent discussion Vice President Kamala Harris' had with ABC's The View hosts on reproductive rights.
During the interview, Harris repeatedly reiterated her belief that the "government should not be telling women what to do with their bodies."
White House communications director Herbie Ziskend shared a video Wednesday via X (formerly Twitter), writing, "Very *strong* praise on @FoxNews for the @VP’s interview today."
POLL: Should Trump be allowed to hold office again?
Bloomberg News senior White House reporter Jennifer Jacobs retweeted the video Ziskend shared, writing, "White House seems to agree with assessment from @kayleighmcenany, who said VP Harris’s abortion messaging is meant to drive young women to the polls, and GOP needs to be aware that her strategy is 'very powerful'"
In the video Ziskend shared, McEnany, referring to Harris' comments, says to a panel of Fox News analysts, "I disagree with almost everything she said in this interview. I will say it was one of her better interviews when it came to style. She's been clearly doing some sort of media training."
McEnany emphasized that Harris constantly pivoted to the issue of abortion rights during her interview "because she knows what is true, which is that the GOP has lost every single abortion ballot initiative post-Roe. Every single one."
The Fox News added, "She knows abortion ballot initiatives will be on ten states, at least, and swing states. So she wants to drive young women to the polls. This is why I've implored the GOP, as someone who is pro-life myself, speak from a place of compassion."

McEnany then pointed to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis' approach to the issue, which includes saying that he'll "be an advocate for maternal healthcare." She said, "We as a party must do that, because what Kamala is doing, right or wrong, is very powerful among young women."
