Jenna Ellis’ testimony 'not reflective of a person who thought Trump should leave office gracefully': analyst

National security attorney Brad Moss called Georgia election fraud case co-defendant and former President Donald Trump's ex-lawyer Jenna Ellis' recently leaked video of her testimony "devastating."
Ellis, who was charged alongside 18 others on criminal charges related to their efforts to overturn the 2020 election, can be seen in the video telling Fulton County prosecutors that former White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino told her Trump is "not going to leave under any circumstances," to which she replied, "I don't think it works like that."
During Tuesday's episode of MSNBC's All in with Chris Hayes, legal analyst Lisa Rubin suggested Ellis' testimony fails to match her "behavior" following Trump's election loss to President Joe Biden.
POLL: Should Trump be allowed to hold office again?
"To what extent Jenna Ellis said those things that she said to [Dan] Scavino to Trump, I think still remains to be seen," Rubin told Hayes. "However, the other thing that really struck me about the conversation that Jenna Ellis says took place on December 19th—"
Hayes interrupted saying, "He's not leaving."
Rubin agreed, emphasizing, "That he's not leaving, and the 'we' in terms of people backing up the boss included, not only Scavino, but Meadows. That was detail and at that statement. but the other thing that struck me about it is that Jenna Ellis's behavior after that date, as evidenced by her own tweets, is not reflective of a person who thought Trump should leave office gracefully. Rather, she's urging people and urging Donald Trump himself not to concede the election, right, on December 20th. She's putting this pressure—"
Hayes interrupted, pointing to two of Ellis' past tweets, saying, "December 28, [she wrote] 'President Trump should never concede the election.' January 5th, [she wrote], 'More than 100 state legislators ask @VP @Mike_Pence to delay certification of electoral votes.'"
Rubin said, "Right, so, if this is the same Jenna Ellis who allegedly told Dan Scavino, 'What do you mean he's not leaving? That's not the way it supposed to work.' That's not the way loyal Jenna Ellis was behaving as evidenced by her social media posts."
