Donald Trump is feuding with top Kamala Harris aide, Ian Sams, over his refusal to back down from taking Fox News interview, and the ex-president's vitriol has made the longtime Democratic staffer a MAGA target.

The Washington Post notes in a Wednesday, October 23 report that after Sams told Fox News' Neil Cavuto earlier this month that "we’re not seeing Donald Trump do very many interviews," and criticized "Trump’s refusal to release his medical records, the deadly Jan. 6. 2021, attacks, and the former president’s handling of covid," the MAGA hopeful issued a scathing rebuke of the former President Joe Biden staffer via social media.

"How much time does Ian Sams, Senior Advisor to Lyin’ Kamala Harris, spend on FoxNews?" Trump wrote in a Truth Social post — which, the Post reports, "also dismissed Sams as 'just a below average guy, with memorized FAKE NEWS sound bites, almost all of which are WRONG' and decried Fox News as having 'totally lost it’s way!'"

The Post reports:

Since Trump’s first post, Trump adviser Stephen Miller has tweeted about Sams on at least 15 occasions; Trump adviser Jason Miller has posted nine times; the Trump War Room campaign account has posted six times; and Trump spokesman Tim Murtaugh has posted four times.

The Post also notes:

What Sams is doing — refusing to cede Fox News to Republicans — is part of the Harris campaign’s strategy this cycle. The vice president and her team believe she must win over some of Fox News’s viewers — namely soft Republican and independent voters who voted for Nikki Haley, if she is going to win the presidency.

"It seems like the only person who watches more of Ian’s hits on TV than Trump are his blood relatives," said Sams' friend Lily Adams, who also works on Democratic campaigns.
