Vice President Kamala Harris addressed two highly energized crowds of supporters alongside her running mate pick — Minnesota Governor Tim Walz — during rallies in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and Detroit, Michigan on Wednesday.

Although many of the clearly excited Harris-Walz fans exuded "joy," as several Democratic political pundits have pointed out, not everyone in the Detroit crowd was feeling it.

HuffPost's Yashir Ali shared the clip of Harris' speech via X, writing: "In Detroit, after protestors for the Palestinian cause disrupted her speech for a second time, Vice-President Kamala Harris says: 'You know what? If you want Donald Trump to win, then say that, otherwise I’m speaking.' When the protestors had disrupted her speech moments before that, VP Harris said: 'I am here because we believe in Democracy, everyone’s voice matters, but I am speaking now.'"

MSNBC host Katie Phang wrote: "It's giving serious 'I'm going to count to 3 and then turn the car around' energy."

Political analyst Bakari Sellers commented: "Man, that stare and nod meant it’s time for bed regardless of whether or not you finished dinner."

The Bulwark's Tim Miller added: "One suggestion - next time this happens, once the first round of cheers die down add in: 'did these people just fall out of a coconut tree? {laugh}' and we have a Reagan 84 landslide on our hands."
