'Fact-check me': James Carville schools Hannity on Dems’ energy record
President Donald Trump and former President Joe Biden have radically different views when it comes to energy.
During his four years in the White House, Biden favored a combination of fossil fuels and green energy. The United States had record oil production under Biden's watch, but unlike Trump, Biden recognized climate change as a dangerous reality and supported green energy programs.
Trump, in contrast, is a climate change denier and is dismissive of green energy's potential.

When veteran Democratic strategist James Carville appeared on Fox News on Thursday night, February 20, host Sean Hannity claimed that Biden and other Democrats are out of touch when it came to the country's energy needs. But Carville set him straight on the former president's record.
Hannity told Carville, "I hear James Carville circa 1990s. And it's like, you don't want to seem to address what Americans say are their top priorities: illegal immigration, they want lower energy prices, they want the economy fixed."
Carville asked Hannity, "Do you know what year had the most domestic energy production in American history?" And when the Fox News lost responded, "I have no idea," Carville laid out the facts.
"I happen to know," Carville told Hannity. "2024. Fact-check me."
