The 'people who represent' this GOP candidate are 'the nastiest' — according to Fox News’ ex-star host

As Florida Governor Ron DeSantis' 2024 campaign faces criticism over internal tensions and frequent turnover, former Fox News star host Tucker Carlson added his own commentary to the mix during an appearance at conservative Turning Point USA's AmericaFest Monday.
According to Politico, Carlson said "the people who represent him online"are the "nastiest, the stupidest, and the most zero-sum people" he's ever seen.
The news outlet notes the former Fox News star has publicly backed Donald Trump's 2024 campaign, noting "his name been floated as a possible vice presidential pick" for the MAGA hopeful.

Right-wing podcast host Tim Pool agreed with Carelson's comments, according to the report, saying, "Ron should have fired the people running his campaign a long time ago. Politically, and policy wise, we love Ron DeSantis. He's done an amazing job. But his campaign is a train wreck."
DeSantis' director of rapid response, Christina Pushaw, hit back at the right-wing talking head via X (formerly Twitter, writing, "Hearing that some people find the rhetoric from DeSantis spokespeople vile and appalling. I guess we should do better and rise to the refined level of Team Trump, by calling opponents' wives the c-word and accusing cancer survivors of faking it."
