George Conway slams 'sociopath' Trump’s rambling incoherence

George Conway
Although conservative attorney George Conway is a prominent figure in the right-wing legal movement and was involved with the Federalist Society in the past, his total disdain for President Donald Trump has made him a pariah in the Republican Party but a popular guest when he appears on liberal-leaning MSNBC.
Conway, an aggressive Joe Biden supporter in the United States' 2020 election and a generous fundraiser/donor for Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris in 2024, predicted the worst when Trump narrowly defeated Harris. And during an appearance on The Bulwark's vodcast posted on June 20, Conway warned that Trump's second presidency is in a state of total chaos and disarray during an escalating crisis in the Middle East.
Conway told host Sarah Longwell, a conservative strategist and fellow Never Trumper, that one only needs to read Trump's rambling posts on his Truth Social platform to see how disorganized his second presidency is.

After Longwell read one of Trump's posts, Conway sarcastically commented, "There is an incredible train of logic through all of that. Zero border crossings, 2020 elections. I mean, it all makes sense, right?.... This is just insight into the mind of Donald Trump. It's basically like if you took someone's brain and put it into a blender and then just pulled out neurons randomly. But all his neurons basically say about five things: I'm great, I won the 2020 election, Sleepy Joe, Hillary."
But Conway and Longwell went on to say that what isn't so funny is that Trump is rambling incoherently on social media at a time when the dangerous conflict between Iran and Israel is escalating.
Longwell commented, "Can we hold off for three and a half more years until someone else is there as we're dealing with this conflagration in the Middle East?"
Conway responded, "The problem is that what you have with him is sort of random…. You can't go for three and a half years because what happens is every day, you're spinning the wheel — and you don't know what's going to come up with the wheel. Because he's a sociopath. And one of the things about sociopaths is they don't plan, they don't think. They just emote, and they're impulsive. And they act on their whims and impulses and the last person who talked to them…. And also, they love the power — the feeling of power that they get when they say, 'I'm turning this on, I'm turning this off. I'm turning the lights out, I'm turning the lights on. I'm raising tariffs, I'm lowering tariffs. I'm telling everybody in Tehran — 10 million people — to evacuate. I'm telling them they're safe for now.'"

Conway continued, "He gets off on that. And then, he gets bored with what he said yesterday. Of course, he doesn't necessarily remember what he said, or care what he said yesterday."
