Trump’s nephew launches into profanity-laced tirade in comments about Arlington incident
Although former President Donald Trump is quick to accuse Democrats of being anti-military, his opponents often respond that it is Trump who has a history of disparaging veterans — from criticizing the late Sen. John McCain (R-Arizona) for being captured during the Vietnam War to reportedly describing fallen soldiers as "suckers" and "losers."
One of those critics is Fred C. Trump III.
During a Labor Day appearance on MSNBC's "Deadline: White House," the former president's nephew spoke candidly about his uncle's views on veterans — telling host Nicolle Wallace that "he just doesn't give a s— about them."

Fred C. Trump III's comments came the week after Donald Trump found himself in yet another military-related controversy. The ex-president's campaign has been drawing a great deal of criticism following an incident in which staffers got into an altercation with an employee of Arlington Cemetery, who objected when they wanted to shoot video in a restricted area.
Fred C. Trump III told Wallace — a Never Trump conservative who served as White House communications director under President George W. Bush — "We spoke the last time we were here about how I had the honor of meeting Sen. McCain…. This is a genuine hero. Let's make no mistake about it. The fact that Donald called him, in essence, a 'loser' — I don't get it. But anyone who is disabled or anyone who he deems lesser than him is a loser, which, OK, that's just the way he is. That ain't gonna change."
Like his sister Mary Trump, Fred C. Trump III is rooting for Democratic nominee Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential race.
When Wallace asked him why the former president enjoys support from some veterans despite his long history of disparaging remarks, Fred C. Trump III responded, "I have no idea. And I know many people who are in the military, and I had the pleasure of speaking on an interview with National Defense Radio, which goes out to the armed services. And I told the truth — I basically told this story, and I said that he just doesn't give a s— about them. He just doesn't."
