Fox News Actually Corrects Donald Trump's Embarrassingly Blatant Economy Lie
Monday morning President Donald Trump posted several tweets and retweets touting his supposed excellent performance on the economy, including one attacking former President Barack Obama.
Most of them were lies.
And while President Trump lying is a daily event, Fox News correcting or chastising him for lying is rare.
On social media, the Fox News Research Twitter account posted an embarrassingly accurate pushback to one of Trump's lies.
Here's Trump's tweet, which is a total lie yet has been up with no correction by Trump or the White House for over six hours:

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 10, 2018
Fox News Research, a verified account that's a part of Fox News, noted Trump's error: he's wrong, 63 times:

Fox News was not the only media outlet to push back.
CNBC also notes that "Trump's claim that GDP tops the jobless rate for the first time in 'over 100 years' is not even close to correct."
