Florida Republican governor and 2024 GOP presidential candidate Ron DeSantis had his invitation to a billionaire GOP megadonor's daughter's wedding revoked last year, HuffPost reports.

Per HuffPost, "Snubbing DeSantis appeared to be a priority for" daughter of billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz, Nicola Peltz's wedding to soccer star David Beckham and supermodel Victoria Beckham's son Brooklyn.

According to the report, "text messages cited in" an ongoing lawsuit Nelson Peltz filed against ex-wedding planners Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalbaon, reveal that the heiress told the pair, "Desantis must be OFF THE GUEST LIST. PLEASE CONFIRM!”

HuffPost reports the billionaire sued "for $159,000, hoping to recoup his deposit for their eight-day stint planning the Palm Beach Peltz-Beckham bash," and according to court filings, "the wedding planners claimed Peltz was 'adamant about not inviting certain politicians' to the affair, despite her dad's status as a major GOP donor."

However, the report notes "an insider revealed" that "Nelson Peltz thinks that most of DeSantis's policies are acceptable, but his position on abortion is way too severe. That may undermine Peltz's desire to financially support DeSantis as a candidate."

Nicola's mom, according to the filings, emphasized that the removal of DeSantis' name from the guest list was "important" enough to get done "first thing in AM."
