In Louisiana, State Attorney General Jeff Landry is running for governor and has been endorsed by former President Donald Trump. Another one of Landry's supporters has been Republican megadonor John Odom.

But according to Politico's Alex Isenstadt, Odom has become disenchanted with Landry because he hired former 2016 Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski as a political consultant.

Describing the bad blood between Odom and Lewandowski, Isenstadt reports, "In 2021, Odom's then-wife, Trashelle Odom, alleged that Lewandowski made unwanted sexual advances toward her at a Las Vegas charity dinner in September 2021."

Odom told Politico he is "deeply disappointed and disgusted by Jeff Landry's decision to hire Corey Lewandowski," describing the former Trump campaign manager as "unfit to serve in any capacity in any political campaign."

Trump worked with different campaign managers in 2016. After firing Lewandowski, Trump replaced him with Paul Manafort — who was later convicted of multiple federal criminal charges but granted a federal pardon before Trump left office.

Trashelle Odom, however, is still supporting Landry's gubernatorial campaign

Trashelle Odom told Politico, "Jeff Landry is not just my friend, but I believe he has been the strongest attorney general in America. He has protected children and fought for our individual rights. Jeff truly has my full and complete support for governor of the state of Louisiana."
