On Monday, December 16, CNN reported that yet another deadly shooting with multiple fatalities had occurred in the United States — this time, at a Christian school in Madison, Wisconsin.

According to CNN reporters Chris Boyette and Shimon Prokupecz, the Madison Police Department responded to a shooting at Abundant Life Christian School at 10:57 a.m.

"Several casualties have been reported, Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes told CNN, though no exact number was provided," Boyette and Prokupecz report. "Multiple injured have been transported to hospitals, including students and a staff member who may have fatal injuries, he added."

A police incident report said, "Multiple injuries have been reported. This remains an active and ongoing investigation. More information will be released as it is available."

CNN, as of 1:30 p.m., did not have any information on a possible motive for the shooting.

The New York Times on Monday reported the shooter "[killed] four people, the police said. The suspect was found dead." An updated report from Fox News reduced the number of dead, revealing the suspect "[killed] a teacher and teen student and [injured] six others on Monday."

Tim Elliott, a reporter for WMTV Channel 15 in Wisconsin, tweeted video of paramedics on their way to Abundant Life Christian School.
