MAGA World is experiencing some major infighting over alleged files on convicted billionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino is accusing U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi of covering up the "Epstein files," even threatening to resign if she doesn't resign. But President Donald Trump maintains that Bondi is doing a "FANTASTIC JOB" and wishes that MAGA Republicans would forget about Epstein.

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough discussed this MAGA infighting with New York Times reporter Glenn Thrush during the Monday, July 14 broadcast of "Morning Joe."

Thrush told hosts Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski and their colleague Jonathan Lemire, "This has always been sort of a Mad Max administration. It's every person for themselves. This is a very unforgiving environment."

Lemire noted that "this is a firestorm that doesn't seem like it's fading anytime soon," arguing that Trump's comments on Bondi on Truth Social "only added to it over the weekend, contrary to his intent."

When Lemire noted that "this is a rare moment of MAGA rebellion," Thrush responded, "Well, yeah, and it's creating enormous pressures inside."

Thrush told Scarborough, Brzezinski and Lemire, "I think this breakup between Bondi and Bongino is pretty much irreconcilable. I think there were some attempts over the weekend to negotiate some sort of a detente. But I can tell you, from Bondi's end, I don't think she really wants to see him back."
