Fox News host warns Republicans to 'get it together' following Biden’s barnburner SOTU

President Joe Biden was fired up when he delivered a passionate State of the Union address on Thursday night, March 7, slamming MAGA Republicans on everything from abortion rights to health care to military aid for Ukraine.
Biden's comments weren't anti-conservative per se. The 81-year-old president favorably mentioned the late President Ronald Reagan during his speech, and he has made it clear to supporters of former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley — who dropped out of the presidential race after Super Tuesday — that he would welcome them in his coalition.
But Biden's speech was highly critical of the far-right MAGA movement and "my predecessor" (meaning former President Donald Trump).

While a combination of liberal, centrist and conservative Never Trump pundits on MSNBC have been praising Biden's speech as passionate and focused, right-wing media outlets have reflexively attacked it.
But during the Friday morning, March 8 broadcast of Fox News' "Fox and Friends," Lawrence Jones had a warning for fellow conservatives: Biden, as the speech showed, means business and is serious about defeating likely GOP nominee Trump in November.
Jones told his "Fox and Friends" colleagues, "It's clear that Biden did what he needed to do last night to unify his party. They were all singing his praises last night. You got the pundits on television that are now rallying behind Biden."
The "Fox and Friends" co-host continued, "The Republicans better get it together, better figure out what they believe. They got a nominee now. They need to be in lockstep because the Democrats are going to be in lockstep."

Jones also discussed the end of Haley's campaign and where she goes from here.
"Well, Nikki Haley, what are you going to do now?" Jones said. "Because Joe Biden put a red line. What is your red line?
