'Hey Fox what is this?' Maria Bartiromo mocked for 'Harris topping Trump' graphic

As the 2024 Democratic National Convention gets underway in Chicago, presidential nominee Kamala Harris is enjoying small single-digit leads over her GOP rival Donald Trump in many national and battleground state polls.
Democratic strategists are hoping that the convention will give Harris a significant bounce and increase the size of her polling leads. Harris, however, is very cautious in her optimism and continues to tell reporters that she views herself as the "underdog" in the race.
On Fox News and Fox Business, host Maria Bartiromo has often been an aggressive cheerleader for Trump. But on the convention's first day, she is being mocked on X, formerly Twitter, for a visual showing Harris slightly ahead — and using the phrase "Harris topping Trump" to do so.

Journalist Aaron Rupar tweeted a visual that aired on Bartiromo's show in which an ABC News/Ipsos poll showed Trump trailing Harris by 4 percent.
"This is what happens when you don't have gay copyeditors on staff," Dan Savage wrote.
X user Rob DenBleyker, also posting the image, humorously posted, "hey fox news what is this."
Another X pundit, Crazy Fenak, commented, "At what point does the GOP go into full panic mode? They don't seem quite there yet. Harris +3 on polling averages?"
The Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC), meanwhile, responded by attacking Harris as "politically polarizing."
