Rudy Giuliani inadvertently reveals the existence of taped evidence during his latest interview meltdown

President Donald Trump's defense attorney made yet another inadvertent revelation during an interview with The New Yorker published on Monday evening.

Earlier in the day, Giuliani had attempted to walk-back weekend interviews on NBC's "Meet the Press and with the New York Times.

Giuliani was asked about his latest opinions on the BuzzFeed report that Trump had suborned perjury.

"I guess the BuzzFeed story—I don’t remember what it said about Cohen—but it said there was corroboration that the President talked to Cohen and told him to lie about, I guess it was, the Moscow proposal," the former New York City mayor said.

"There are no tapes, there are no texts, there is no corroboration that the President told him to lie," Giuliani argued.

"But I can tell you, from the moment I read the story, I knew the story was false," he added.

"Because I have been through all the tapes, I have been through all the texts, I have been through all the emails, and I knew none existed," Giuliani said.

"Wait, what tapes have you gone through?" The New Yorker asked.

"I shouldn’t have said tapes," Giuliani answered. "They alleged there were texts and e-mails that corroborated that Cohen was saying the President told him to lie."

"So, there were no tapes you listened to, though?" The New Yorker followed-up.

"No tapes," Giuliani replied.

"Well, I have listened to tapes, but none of them concern this," he corrected.

Giuliani has been criticized for "making a mess" of Trump's legal defense.

People close to Trump have reportedly "grown exasperated" with Giuliani.
