WATCH: Stephen Colbert Made a Hilarious Post-Apocalypse Video After The Stock Market Went Down Wednesday

Video

Wednesday at around 1pm EST the New York Stock Exchange went down due to a "computer glitch." Though NYSE has denied there was a hack, one of Anonymous's most popular accounts tweeted out a rather ominous warning the night before, warning its 1.45 million followers hours before the crash "Wonder if tomorrow is going to be bad for Wall Street.... we can only hope."

CBS Late Show host-elect Steven Colbert, for his part, freaked out. Locked up in his Manhattan bunker, the funny man sent out a "found footage" video of instructions to be discovered after "Apocalypse Dow". Though he's not on the air for two more months, Colbert clearly couldn't help inserting himself into yesterday's paranoia; posting what has to be one of the more absurd promos in television history.

He drank his filtered urine, opined on the future of ape-run late night, and even, at one point, took a "bunker selfie" with a live chicken.

It's all really goofy and pretty funny. Watch below:
