Must-Watch: Jon Stewart and the Daily Show Team Re-Make Sesame Street for Right-Wingers

Conservative culture warriors have long battled various beloved children's characters. With Mitt Romney gunning for Big Bird in last week's debate -- and Rick Santorum helpfully adding that you can kill and eat things that you love -- the Daily Show took up the story. "Fox News is upset that empty headed puppets are trying to brainwash and indoctrinate our children," said Jon Stewart on last night's show. "Maybe they can sue for copyright infringement."


Stewart, along with John Oliver and Wyatt Cenac then tried to figure out how to make Sesame Street more palatable to the right. Watch it:
