Katherine Harris (who just happens to have been the topic of discussion when Robert Novak suddenly lost it and burst off the set of CNN) has accused newspapers of doctoring her photos. Their aim, according to her, was to pervert the otherwise tastefully applied wall of makeup she became infamous for in 2000 while she fought to ensure that many of Florida's black voters didn't get to vote.
