GENERAL FORECAST: Shifts in the movements of three personal planets herald changes in your personal life. After four months retrograde, since November 2, Jupiter, the greater fortune, turns direct on March 1 in Cancer. Crabs, Scorpions and Fish will benefit from this newly-released expansive energy. Venus, the lesser fortune, moves out of her Piscean martyr-mode on the 7th, to brighten romantic prospects and the social lives of Aries, Leo and Sagittarius, the fire signs, until Easter Sunday. Also on the 1st, action-oriented Mars leaves his Aries home base for the fertile fields of Taurus where he'll dig in until April 13.
ARIES (March 20-April 19)
Rest assured you won't run out of steam and collapse like a soufflé once your Mars ruler comes out of fiery Aries. However, until Mars finishes its transit of earthy Taurus, a good deal of your energy might be spent on getting your financial garden to grow. Nurture the seeds you recently planted and press forward with the most promising while Mars and opportunistic Jupiter align over the weekend. Venus in your sign from the 7th until Easter makes you the flavor of the month. Yum.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20)
You get a major infusion of physical energy and gumption while Mars treks through Taurus until mid-April. It's been two years since you've had this much Martian assertiveness pushing you to achieve your latest goals. Make the most of its short stay: Beef up your exercise routine, schedule plastic surgery, take a swing at the opposition. Because Mars can make you more of a daredevil, be extra careful around machinery, knives, fire and firearms; accidents do happen.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20)
Finally, you're out from under the shadow of your Mercury ruler's last retrograde session. Feel free to move forward and explore entirely new stuff, to no longer spend precious hours revising an idea you've had for a while, to wait for the other shoe to drop. You might even demonstrate flashes of certifiable brilliance when Mercury and inventive Uranus merge around the 8th. This is also the time when a partner has to decide what to do about a career choice or an important family matter.
CANCER (June 21-July 22)
The thought of exploring distant lands can stir up feelings of discontent with what is close at hand. Keep this in mind should the sympatico Pisces new moon steer you out of the country. Although the Moon Child is often described as being homegrown, home-bound stock, you seem to travel as much as Gemini and Sagittarius. No matter if you're pursuing art, a good time or the coin of the realm or are cherchez-ing la femme, magnetic Venus in adventurous Aries is the irresistible force leading you on. Don't fight it.
LEO (July 23-August 22)
Get past the changes you could undergo when your sun ruler is tested by Pluto's dark side on the 8th, and you'll be home free. That doesn't mean comfy, cozy domestic bliss as much as relief at not succumbing to the pitfalls of Pluto, planet of terrorism and transformation. Pluto is currently in your house of creativity and romance; the sun is passing through the sector where sex, death and other people's money come from. If this reminds you of Orpheus descending, well it should.
VIRGO (August 23-September 22)
Have the one original idea related to work or a co-worker when your Mercury ruler and brilliant Uranus meet on the 8th and you'll have fulfilled your obligation to always come up with a solution. Then you can concentrate on what your partner is into or how together you can redo the residence or dig in the garden. Reexamining your roots, with or without a therapist, is another productive, albeit painful, way to use the rehabilitating power of Pluto to rewrite family history.
LIBRA (September 23-October 22)
Your current wave of popularity should carry you through Easter. While your Venus ruler transits Aries, sign of your soulmates and spouses, there'll be plenty of pretty people around, plus an artist or two who could include you in their projects.
