Jeb Bush is having a bad week. He's muffed a rather straight forward (and one could argue entirely predictable) counter-factual about whether he would have invaded Iraq as his brother did. He then muffed the follow-up and then the follow-up of the follow-up. Only to be browbeaten by a 19-year-old college student at an event in Nevada over W's role in "creating ISIS" by wrecking civil society in Iraq and promoting sectarianism.
The Daily Show writers took note and assembled a pretty hilarious montage of the backtracks, historical rewrites, word parsings and defensive explanations from Jeb. We even get a vintage George W. Bush impression from Stewart which will make folks from my generation a bit nostalgic (for mid-2000s Daily Show, not the President).
