'They are enemies now': Right-wing lawmaker tears into Lauren Boebert after she blurts out obscenity

During a House GOP meeting this week, tensions rose as the party proceeded to determine who will be the next Speaker of the House.
Current House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-California) reaffirmed his competence in the position to colleagues who oppose his second term. During a CNN segment, Chief Congressional Correspondent Manu Raju said that McCarthy passionately raised his voice, saying “I have earned this job!”
“Bulls***!", Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert (R) exclaimed in response.

Raju noted that even if McCarthy does not receive all 218 House votes, the congressman is saying that he is “not going anywhere.”
Strains continued to linger after the meeting during Raju’s interview with Texas GOP Rep. and McCarthy ally Dan Crenshaw, who declared that McCarthy's supporters will be “more stubborn” [than McCarthy's opposers] when it comes to the vote.
“This handful of members are very clearly looking for notoriety over principle,” Crenshaw told Raju. “And anyone who suggests differently is in some kind of make-believe fantasy reality.”
Crenshaw said, “they lost those debates, and that should’ve been the end of it.” But, “if you’re a narcissist and you believe your opinion is so much more important than everyone else’s and you’ll threaten to test down the team for the benefit of the Democrats just because of your own sense of self-importance.”

“We will not vote for anyone else other than McCarthy,” Crenshaw said. “These people think they’re stubborn; we’re more stubborn.”
He asserted, “They are enemies now. They have made it clear they prefer a Democrat agenda over a Republican one.”
