Trump rehires Reince Priebus and Sean Spicer to White House roles
When Sean Spicer decided to take a dig at President Joe Biden, he may not have expected his words to be used against him. But that's exactly what happened when one question sparked a Twitter firestorm.
On Thursday, October 26, Spicer, who briefly worked as White House Press Secretary under former Preaisent Donald Trump, took to Twitter to express his disapproval of Biden's Build Back Better agenda. In his tweet, Spicer asked, "What? When did anyone ask to “transform” America?"
Twitter users quickly took aim at Spicer for his seemingly oblivious line of questioning, reports HuffPost. Many also reminded him of the orgiin of the phrase, "Make America Great Again" and the veiled meaning behind it.
One user wrote, "When did anyone ask that you Make America Great Again?
FYI: America was already great until Trump the disgraced, twice impeached, one term former president came along."Some users also made it clear that Biden's win for the 2020 presidential election also signifies the Unites States' transformation.
