Reporter calls out Mike Lindell's 'bait-and-switch' on supposed 'proof' of election rigging

This week in South Dakota, far-right conspiracy theorist and MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell has been presenting his "Cyber Symposium" event in the hope of convincing Americans that the 2020 election was stolen from former President Donald Trump. Lindell, who is being sued for defamation by Dominion Voting Systems, has made the bogus claim that the technology was manipulated and rigged to flip millions of votes from Trump to now-President Joe Biden — and experts on the United States' voting technology have countered that what he is alleging would be technologically impossible.

Although Lindell's event isn't open to the general public, it is being livestreamed online. And Daily Beast reporter Justin Baragona offered some analysis in a Twitter thread, noting how "awkward" the discussion became:
