Jimmy Kimmel recently took trolled Russian President Vladamir Putin for using Botox after it was announced that pharmaceutical companies have halted their shipments of non-essential drugs to Russia.

On Thursday, March 17, Kimmel mentioned the latest developments as he noted that AbbVie was among the group of pharmaceutical companies to sever ties with the country.

Per HuffPost, "The U.S. government is levying new penalties on Russia as it continues to assault Ukraine. Some sanctions and other punishments are targeting the elites, such as the oligarchs, who are losing yachts and money, and others are aimed directly at Russian President Vladimir Putin."

"Even pharmaceutical companies have stopped shipping non-essential drugs to Russia—including Abbvie, which is the company that makes Botox,” said Kimmel. “Which is interesting, because Vladimir Putin is widely rumored to use Botox.”

The late-night talk show host went on to mock the dictator saying, “Without it, the fear is that he may wither and turn into this."

Kimmel also noted that while the public isn't certain that Putin undergoes botox treatments, "This photograph indicates that he absolutely, one hundred percent does.”

Kimmel went on to share his take on the domino effect that has occurred as a result of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Not only has the war led to unnecessary fatalities but also political and economic consequences. He said, “What a weird time for Russians—their assets are frozen, but their foreheads are not."
