Conservative groups are now peddling a bizarre conspiracy theory about Joe Biden's dogs

Conservative groups have come up with a new conspiracy theory surrounding President Joe Biden's dogs.

According to Vanity Fair, Judicial Watch on Tuesday, May 4, announced that it had filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The conservative group, known for its long history of perpetuating conspiracy theories, reportedly wants access to "records of communication between Secret Service officials assigned to the White House regarding the Biden family dogs."

Judicial Watch argues that the Secret Service "failed to process records in a timely manner in response to a March 10, 2021, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request." That request reportedly sought to retrieve "all records of communications between USSS officials responsible for protection at the White House regarding the Biden family dogs, named Champ and Major."

After filing the lawsuit, Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton released a statement insisting the public has the right to know about any injuries Secret Service agents may have suffered from the president's dogs although he conceded that he has "no doubt that Major and Champ are good dogs."

"The public has a right to know the details about any incident in which Secret Service personnel were injured by President Biden's dog. We have no doubt that Major and Champ are good dogs but politicians and bureaucrats can't be trusted."

The lawsuit comes just weeks after Biden's dog Major was sent back to Delaware after two different incidents involving a Secret Service agent and an employee for the National Park Service. In March, the dog nipped at a Secret Service agent's hand. In April, he had a similar encounter with the National Park Service employee.
