'A globalist network': Kari Lake goes scorched earth and burns bridges with Fox News live on-air

Former Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake recently took aim at Fox News live on-air describing the news outlet as a “globalist network.”

The far-right political figure's remarks came during her recent appearance on "Piers Morgan Uncensored" on Monday, May 8.

During the segment, the two discussed gun control and Morgan mentioned a Fox News poll released back in April. The poll suggested that American voters actually support the idea of stricter laws on gun control.

"Something has to be done. We can agree on this, right? A Fox News poll revealed that 87 percent of Americans back stricter background checks. 81 percent agreed the legal age to buy a gun should be raised to 21," Morgan explained.

He continued, "80 percent agreed that anyone who buys a gun should go for a mental health assessment. 80 percent want police to take guns from people consider the dangers for themselves. 77 percent want a 30-day waiting up period. All gun purchases."

"Okay, that doesn't surprise me because Fox News is a globalist network pushing a globalist agenda and the globalists want to make sure Fox News is watched," Lake said.

Morgan added, “Fox News is watched by a lot of gun owners."

However, Lake doubled down saying, “Fox News is a globalist network run by globalists who want to bring down our constitution and take away our Second Amendment."

Morgan made a move to challenge Lake's claim saying, “I don’t think Fox News is a globalist network. It’s the biggest conservative network in the country."

“They fired Tucker Carlson,” Lake said.

Morgan argued that most of the network's viewers likely have pro-gun beliefs.
