'Very jealous': Trump ally says White House secretly 'can't stand' this MAGA congresswoman

One of President Donald Trump's biggest supporters in Congress may be shocked to learn her feelings toward the president aren't reciprocal, if one of his top allies is to be believed.

The Daily Beast reported Wednesday on the deposition of MAGA influencer Laura Loomer, who is suing comedian Bill Maher over his claims that she had a physical relationship with the president. Loomer alleges in her $150 million defamation lawsuit that Maher's "malicious" insinuation that she slept with Trump caused a "media frenzy" that cost her a potential job in the White House.

Maher made the remarks about Loomer's "arranged marriage" to Trump on an episode of his show Real Time in 2024, following Loomer boasting that she had visited Mar-a-Lago "20, 30 times" and was a member of his inner circle.

"We did an editorial here a few years ago ... it was basically, who’s Trump f------?" Maher said during the episode. "Because I said, you know, it’s not nobody. He’s been a dog for too long, and it’s not Melania. I think we may have our answer this week. I think it might be Laura Loomer."

Loomer — who has been dubbed Trump's unofficial "loyalty enforcer" — said Maher's comments were the deciding factor in her not being brought onto Trump's team. She cited a New York Times report in which Trump told his then-campaign co-chair Susie Wiles in 2023 he wanted to hire Loomer before ultimately declining.

However, Loomer's allegations that Maher cost her a job in the administration weren't the only revealing part of the far-right conspiracy theorist's deposition. During her questioning, attorney Kate Bolger asked Loomer if there were any other reason Trump may have decided to not give her a job, referencing her Islamophobic conspiracy mongering, her attacks on Illinois Governor JB Pritzker (D) and his transgender-inclusive policies and her open hatred of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) Loomer notably disputed that Greene would have played a role in her losing out on a job due to Trumpworld's feelings about the Georgia Republican.

“She’s very jealous of me,” Loomer said of Greene. “Trump’s staff told me that they can’t stand Marjorie Taylor Greene.”
