Actress and comedian Sarah Silverman is an ardent supporter of Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders, and recently made a impassioned video urging people to vote (for him).

"This man is running for president on a platform that is just a giant f*ck you to the above-the-law billionaire class who have been controlling government policy with their money and not paying a nickel in taxes through government loopholes they secure with said money," Silverman explained.

Silverman was previously a Clinton supporter and has jokingly rationalized the fact that politicans are allowed to accept big money donations, "legalized corruption" under Citizens United. But the comedian has great respect for Sanders’ platform, which has relied on individual donations of an average of $27. Silverman also believes a Democratic Socialist would be great for the country. But she doesn't expect everyone to share her enthusiasm, or even vote, for that matter.

"If you vote or not, that’s not my business — I’m not your mommy,” she said. On the other hand, Silverman has a message for the super-rich Americans voting for anyone other than Sanders: "Under President Sanders, don’t worry, you can still become a super-rich a*shole,” Silverman said. “It’s just that your fellow hard-working citizens don’t have to feed their children cat food in order for you to do it.”
